Ashley and Ty’s beach adventure couples’ session took place at Westmoreland State Park located in Montross Virginia. Just under an hour from my home location.
The couple is so adventurous and amazing that a traditional park or monument location was not something that I wanted to provide. I wanted something that matched their personality and love for one another, as well making their session that much more personal to them.
We met at the station house that overlooks the river, and then made our 15 min walk down to the beach area location. We hopped over a small stream and sat our bags down and took in all the beauty that was around us. The cliffs just could not be ignored and so we started on one side of the beach where we could have the sun pierce through the trees for that amazing sunlit glow.
I loved everything about this beach adventure couples session! The adventure and non-traditional spirit they have is so refreshing to be around. One of my favs to this day! Staying true to their personality and zest for life created the perfect foundation for location scouting and outfit suggestions for the couple.
