Historic St. Mary’s City is full of history and beautifully located right on the bank of the Potomac River.

Arguably one of the best locations for an elopement.

In the middle of 2021 I had the pleasure of providing elopement photography for one of the sweetest and cutest couples, Michael + Leona, right here in beautiful southern Maryland.

Historic St. Mary’s City has been one of the most beautiful Maryland wedding venues for some time now. They have recently built a pavilion where a tent used to go for outdoor weddings. No more renting tents, it is actually a part of the package and services that is provided. It is one of the best waterfront wedding venues in Maryland. Many open areas, small trails along the fields, and golden hour wedding photos are just to die for! It is definitely a must see when looking for something that has a rustic feel.

HERE are some amazing maryland wedding venues that just might interest you if you are looking for a more barn style wedding, rustic wedding, waterfront wedding in maryland.

Leona reached out to me for a small and quick elopement. Ready with their marriage certificate in hand, they really wanted to celebrate with a portrait session that showcased their love and life together.

The two said a few words to each other to finally seal the deal, and then I guided them around Historic St. Mary’s to see all that this Maryland Waterfront Venue had to offer.

Partly cloudy skies, but the sun did come out to play a few times.

A perfect mini adventure elopement, fit for a queen!

If you are ready to book for your special day, whether it be a just us elopement or a full traditional wedding, or to see a little more of what I do visit the WEDDING EXPERIENCE on my page for more info.
